We put the *FUN* in fundraising so we’re kicking off this season’s events with an all-around great time at The Underfront Company, 265 North Front Street.
Sunday February 22, 2026 from 5 – 8 pm
Enjoy light Hors d’oeuvres, boutique cocktails, live music, and maybe break out your dancing shoes and dance with us to help support our upcoming performance, the 22nd Arts Sensation!

Who we are
Forward Motion Dance Company, Inc.
We are a Wilmington, NC, based non-profit 501(c)(3) dance organization whose mission is to provide local and regional communities with quality modern contemporary dance and education in the art of dance, as well as enhance the local arts community by providing performance opportunities for area dancers and performance artists.

Fun Adult Classes for Dancers at Every Level

Adult Tap
A fun and exhilarating way to enjoy the art of Tap dance! This Teen/Adult class explores classic styles of Tap dance with moves to improve strength and flexibility while learning Tap combinations to many different musical genres.
Instructor: Tracey Varga of Forward Motion Dance Company.
Monday 6:45 - 7:45pm
All students should arrive at least ten minutes before the start time.

Adult Modern- Jazz
A fun dance class incorporating classical, jazz and modern dance with yoga/pilates influence to improve strength and flexibility along with learning dance combinations to many different music genre’s. A great way to move and enjoy the art of dance!
